Ingredients
Old-Fashioned Keto Root Beer Float
- 1-2scoopsDairy-Free Vanilla Ice Cream (recipe below)
- Ginger Root Beer Zeviaa stevia-sweetened soda
- frosty mugs
4-Ingredient Dairy-Free Ice Cream
- 2cansfull fat coconut milk
- 1/4cupDietz Sweetor your favorite keto or whole sweetener, such as coconut sugar (not keto)
- 1tablespoonvanilla extract
- 2tablespoons80-100 proof vodkaoptional, but helps keep it from freezing rock-hard
Instructions
To Assemble Keto Root Beer Floats
- Place glass mugs (or Mason jars) in your freezer about 5 minutes before you'd like to serve your Keto Root Beer Floats.
- Using an ice cream scoop, scoop desired amount of ice cream into frosted mugs.
- Pour root beer over the ice cream.
- Add a straw, use a spoon, and enjoy!
To Make 4-Ingredient Ice Cream
Combine everything in your blender or a mixing bowl and mix well.
Pour the mixture into your ice cream machine and make according to the manufacturer's directions.
4-Ingredient Dairy-Free Vanilla Ice Cream
et’s talk about that 4-ingredient, dairy-free vanilla ice cream, shall we?
I mean, if you have to make your own ice cream for your root beer floats, it’s gotta be super easy and super delicious, right?
All you need are 4 ingredients: coconut milk, keto-friendly sweetener, vanilla, and (optional) some 80-100 proof vodka.
(You will not taste the vodka and it is optional. But, it helps keep the ice cream from getting rock hard in the freezer.)
Simply combine everything in your blender or a mixing bowl and mix well. Then, pour the mixture into your ice cream machine and make according to the manufacturer’s directions.
