You know how it is…
You have a get-together with friends or community, and when no one wants the party to end, everyone collectively comes up with a plan to move the gathering to someone’s house, right?
It is decided that your house is, for various reasons, the best spot to re-locate and keep hanging out/chatting/laughing/doing community things.
This happens a lot in my tribe. We usually have “company” over two or three times a week in some capacity.
Because my house is conveniently and centrally located (in our 140-person tiny town).
Because I live on a paved road that’s accessible. (Several of our friends live deep in the woods without paved roads, and going to their house requires mile-long walks.)
And because the ability to host our people was a huge consideration we remodeled our kitchen/living/dining rooms two years ago.
So, it happened one evening that our town had just wrapped up a timber-framing project and our people wanted to move the fun to my house.
Just because I hadn’t planned on hosting people that evening didn’t mean I didn’t want to! I love my people and love spending time with them, especially because we’re all foodies and that’s just what we do.
I did have some sour cream and cream cheese in my fridge and some Everything But The Bagel Seasoning in my spice cabinet.

Everything Seasoning Dip = A Quick, Last-Minute Appetizer/Snack/Party/Game Day Food
In just a few minutes, I combined the sour cream, cream cheese, and Everything Seasoning, adding extra salt, garlic powder, and onion powder to punch up the flavor.
This dip is so perfect for any sort of last-minute thing. If you get invited some place and have no idea what to throw together in a hurry, here’s the answer!
What Type of Cream Cheese & Sour Cream Are Best For This Recipe?
I’ll be really clear — this is NOT a sponsored post. This is a recipe I came up with on the fly using ingredients I already had in my fridge and pantry.
That said, I am a big fan of the Nancy’s brand of cultured dairy products. Nancy’s full-fat yogurt, cream cheese, and sour cream are regulars in my Real Food fridge.
So, Nancy’s cultured cream cheese and sour cream are, in my opinion, the BEST products to use for this recipe and not your store brand boxes of cream cheese. Here’s why:
- they’re organic and certified non-GMO — meaning the cows’ diet was organic and also non-GMO
- both contain 4 strains of probiotics which are necessary for gut health (Philly cream cheese and Daisy sour cream do NOT.)
- cultured dairy is more easily digested than non-cultured
- the flavor of both is outstanding… you can taste a difference!
Perfect For Dipping All The Things!
This Everything Seasoning Cream Cheese Dip works for dipping just about everything!
On its own this dip is already keto/low-carb/THM:S. It has no sweeteners or added sugars of any kind. And since you’re using plain, full-fat sour cream and plain, full-fat cream cheese, it’s loaded with amazing fats!
So… what to dip?
Veggies, crackers, chips… you can get away with all of it!
Keto/Low-Carb/THM Dippers:
- low-carb raw veggies — colorful peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, jicama, cucumber
- keto-approved crackers
- pork rinds — I love this brand!
- sugar-free beef jerky — yes, really!
Other Dipper Ideas:
- sourdough bread or toast
- gluten-free crackers
- these nut-free paleo crackers that are made with Everything Seasoning!
- sourdough einkorn crackers (best price is at Thrive Market!)
- carrot sticks
- potato chips (this is the kind we love!)
This dip also makes a fantastic spread for sandwiches, wraps, or gasp! Everything Bagels!

How To Make Keto Everything But the Bagel Cream Cheese Dip in 2 Minutes!
This keto dip recipe is great last-minute anything food because it hardly takes any time to make!
It will be much easier to make dip with cream cheese that’s softened slightly before using, so take your cream cheese out of the fridge and set it out to soften first — about 30 minutes is fine.
First, use a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment or a basic hand mixer to whip together the cream cheese and sour cream for one minute. The mixture should be slightly “fluffed” and totally smooth.
Next, add seasonings — salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and of course, some yummy Everything But The Bagel Seasoning.
Whip it all together again for another minute.
Spoon it into a serving bowl and voila! You’ve just made an awesomely healthy and probiotic keto dip for parties, game day, holidays, potlucks, and more in 2 minutes!

2-Minute Everything Seasoning Cream Cheese Dip (keto, primal, THM:S)

Ingredients
- 8ouncescultured cream cheesesoftened
- 6 tablespoons cultured sour cream
- 3tablespoons Everything But The Bagel Seasoningplus more for garnish
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/4 teaspoongarlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Add cream cheese and sour cream to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with whisk attachment or to a medium-size mixing bowl and use a hand mixer.
Whip for 1 minute, until fluffy.
Add the Everything Seasoning, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Whip for another minute.
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with additional Everything Seasoning.

I only used 1/4 tsp salt and it was too salty, otherwise very simple to make and good!
Was your cream cheese salted? Some brands are. You gotta watch for that 😉 Glad you enjoyed it!
I added no salt at all and it was still very salty. The culprit is the everything bagel seasoning. There is no way to determine the variations in the added salt among different brands. I used Olde Thompson brand. I would suggest tasting after adding just two tablespoons and adding more as needed. I happen to like my food heavily seasoned so I thought this dip was pretty good.
