Mulled Cacao Wine

This Mulled Cacao Wine takes everything you love about classic mulled wine and gives it a decadent chocolatey twist.

Ingredients

  • 1bottlered wine
  • 2tablespoonsCacao Bliss*
  • 1/2medium orangesliced
  • 1cinnamon sticks
  • 1star anise
  • 4-5cloves
  • 2cardamom podsoptional

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, add all the ingredients and stir until the Cacao Bliss gets dissolved into the wine mixture.
  2. Simmer the wine mixture over medium heat for up-to 40 minutes. it will reduce in quantity. Once done, strain the mulled wine to a serving glass and serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

You can use raw cacao powder in place of Cacao Bliss, if desired.
