  1. Cube the loaf of bread into 1/4" cubes. Place in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Add the avocado oil and seasonings to the bowl.

  3. Toss the cubed bread in avocado oil and seasonings to coat the bread cubes well.

  4. Line dehydrator trays (or a couple of baking sheets) with parchment paper.

  5. Spread the bread cubes evenly and in a single layer on the dehydrator trays or baking sheets.

  6. Dehydrate for 4 to 6 hours on high heat. If using the oven, set your oven temperature to 225 degrees and dry until the croutons are crisp.

  7. Cool completely before using or storing. Store croutons in an airtight container in your pantry for up to 2 weeks.
