Paleo Orange-Ginger-Jalapeno Glazed Pork Chops

Who says you can't get dinner on the table with 6 ingredients?? These spicy-sweet Paleo Orange-Ginger-Jalapeno Glazed Grilled Pork Chops prove that a Real Food dinner can be easy, delicious, and (almost) mess-free!

Ingredients

  • 4pastured pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 2navel orangesjuiced (about 3/4 cup juice)
  • zest of 1 navel orange
  • 1/2cupraw honey
  • 1-inchknob of fresh gingergrated
  • 1jalepeno peppersliced

Instructions

  1. Add the orange juice, zest, honey, ginger, and jalapeno to a small saucepan over medium-medium-high heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium heat.
  3. Simmer until the sauce reduces and thickens to coat the back of a spoon.
  4. Remove from the heat, strain, and set aside.
  5. Prep the pork chops by seasoning both sides with salt, pepper, and a bit of garlic powder.
  6. Preheat your grill to 350 degrees, then reduce heat to medium.
  7. Place the seasoned pork chop on the grill and close the lid. After about 3 to 5 minutes, rotate the chops 1/2 turn to make grill marks.
  8. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then flip.
  9. Once flipped, brush prepared glaze over the grilled side.
  10. After about 3 minutes, rotate the chops 1/2 turn.
  11. Flip again, and brush the other side with the glaze.
  12. Remove from the grill to a wooden cutting board to rest for 5 to 7 minutes.
  13. You may brush more glaze on if you like.
  14. Serve with extra glaze on the side for glaze-lovers!
