The perfect treat for fall, these healthy chai spiced donuts are made with wholesome ingredients, minimal sugar, and boosted with the flavor and health-nourishing benefits of Chai Bliss!

Servings 10

Ingredients

For chai sugar topping

  • 1tablespoongrass-fed butter, melted
  • 2tablespoonscoconut sugar
  • 1tablespoonEarth Echo Chai Bliss

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Grease a donut pan with butter or coconut oil and set aside.

  2. Add the almond flour, coconut flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and sea salt to a bowl and whisk to combine.

  3. In a separate large bowl, add the maple syrup, coconut milk, butter, and eggs. Whisk thoroughly until well combined and creamy.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and gently stir to combine.

  5. Place the batter into a piping bag or a plastic resealable bag with a corner cut off.

  6. Pipe into donut molds, filling about 1/2 the way full. Be careful not to overfill. You should get 10 donuts total.

  7. Bake for 20 minutes. The edges of the donut should be starting to brown and a toothpick inserted into one should come out clean.

  8. Let donuts cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before transferring them onto a cooling rack to cool completely.

  9. While the donuts are cooling, combine the coconut sugar and Chai Bliss on a small plate.

  10. Brush the cooled donuts with a bit of melted butter and then dip them into the Chai Bliss mixture to coat. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

While these donuts are best eaten the day they’re made, leftovers can be stored in a lidded container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
